"Great place. Excellent with food allergies. Mann I provided great service!"
"New Menu, New Chef, New Sourcing. Asado Urban Grill is Getting Great! I had the pleasure of dining at Asado this evening and everything impressed me from start to finish. There are limited off-site restaurants within walking distance from the hotel, and I read several lackluster reviews on a few websites regarding Asado so I was a bit reluctant to check-out this grill inside the Renaissance Suites O’Hare Hotel. I’m so glad I gave it a chance. The staff (Eddie at the entrance) was super helpful and friendly describing the menu and most popular dishes. I ordered the Asado Burger (mixed beef burger with bacon and cheese) and it was cooked to perfection (medium rare, juicy and pink inside), just wonderful. It also had a slight smoky flavor that was delicious. The fresh pickles and marinated onions were upscale side-condiments. Crunchy and tasty. The home made french fries were some of the best I’ve had. Piping hot from the fryer with excellent golden color, crispness on the outside and perfect texture inside. I devoured them. The side salad was a decent mix of cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion and mixed greens. I enjoyed the lightly coated blue cheese dressing. The chef, Jonathon, came out to greet me during my dinner, checking in on the meal. What a delight to chat with him about the quality of the food and the new menu items he’s added. Above and beyond. I absolutely recommend dinner or lunch at Asado during your Renaissance Hotel Stay. Thank you Eddie and Jonathon."
"Just came in for lunch today while staying at the hotel. The atmosphere was great and very comfortable. I ordered the Asado burger and it was delicious. The best part was the sever Becky. She was extremely friendly, fun, and provided amazing service. She welcomed you with a smile, and literally was the best. I would return again for sure!"
"Asado is located in the hotel. The breakfast was not included with my stay. Your choice of buffet or menu selection. Prices are comparable. The quality of the food provided in the buffet was great and enjoyed. The staff was courteous with a great vibe to start the day. Clean and classy place to have a business breakfast meeting or simply relax before heading out."
"Sadly I'm a creature of habit lol so I have only had The Burger as my entree each time I have been here. I had the Asian Beef soup and it was surprisingly delish considering I don't like beef based soups. There's one particular waitress there who is super amazing. She impressed me just by remembering me from my first time and remembered how I liked my burger. I would recommend this place to anyone. Even though I am not a local, my experience here has been pleasant. Edit: I decided to eat here one last time before vebtuong home tomorrow. The waitress and I are now on a first name basis lol. Noel. Very pleasant and even satisfied my craving or pickles. I had the potato leek and cheese soup. Ahhhhmazing! And fish And chips. The fish was not dry or over cooked. I honestly think I'm going to miss this place lol. I will definitely return when I take my vacation. Even if I don't stay at the Renaissance hotel."
"Solid spot, especially if you’re staying at the hotel. Maybe a little understaffed, but a good experience."
"Asado Urban Grill is located in the Renaissance hotel. I ordered the pan seared salmon with avocado-tomato salad and garlic chard. Delicious! The drink I got was really good too. It's called "Little Village". Smokey sweet blend of mezcal, agave nectar, lime and ginger beer. My partner ordered the steak frites and he said it was good."
"The food ain’t bad for what it is, a hotel restaurant. But the service is great. Everyone is really friendly and happy to accommodate meal substitutions. I had the market salad with a couple fried eggs, which wasn’t on the menu. Good vibes go a long way."
